Last Updated: January 25, 2026
Social Fabric Apps, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to provide, secure, and improve our services. This policy explains what these technologies are and why we use them.
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your device to help us recognize you, remember your preferences, and provide a secure environment.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for the following essential and functional purposes:
Authentication & Security: We use Firebase Authentication cookies to keep you logged in and protect your account from unauthorized access.
Fraud Prevention: Our payment processor, Stripe, sets cookies to analyze device signals. This helps distinguish between legitimate customers and fraudulent bots, protecting Social Fabric Apps, LLC and our users.
Location Services: When you use address autocomplete in our event creation forms, Google Maps may set cookies to remember your map preferences and improve your search experience.
Application Performance: We use local storage to cache your host profile and subscription status (Custom Claims) briefly, ensuring the app loads instantly.
3. Your Choices
Under modern privacy standards (GDPR/CCPA), you have the right to choose which cookies you accept:
Strictly Necessary: These cannot be turned off as they are required for account login and payment security.
Optional (Analytics & Maps): You can opt-out of these via the Cookie Consent Banner in our app. Note that rejecting these may disable the address autocomplete feature in your event planner.
4. Managing Preferences
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling all cookies will prevent you from logging into the "Cheers!" dashboard.
